WHAT YOU WOULD SAY…

I went to a play, I wanted to act, but there was no part…

The music was jammin’, I wanted to dance,  but there was no rhythm…

I heard a song,  I wanted to sing, but there was no music…

I read a poem, I wanted to write, but there were no words…

I saw a painting, I wanted to paint, but there were no colors…

Then I thought of you

and I knew,

exactly what you would say…

If you want to paint, buy a box of paints, it’s loaded with colors.

If you want to write, buy a dictionary, it’s full of words.

If you want to sing, buy a guitar, make your own music.

If you want to dance, you’re right, you ain’t  got no rhythm.

But whatever you do, get in the act, and make a part for yourself.
