Is Bush being truthful?

Did you know that in 1951 Iran was led by a democratic government?  Dr. Mohammad Messadegh founded the first democratic government in Iran.  But, backed up by a CIA ran plan,  he was captured and tried for treason in a plot known as Operation Ajax.  The British government was upset over the loss of their control on the Iranian oil industry.  They convinced the American government that Dr. Mohammad Messadegh was moving toward communism.  This of course was false.  Dr. Mohammad Messadegh was later sentenced to 3 years in prison and then spent the rest of his years under house arrest until his death in 1967.  After he was overthrown, under the new government Iranian oil flow was restored to world  wide markets in large quantities.  Just an example of the “oil for blood” theory in our recent history.  It can, and does happen.  Is Bush being truthful?  Does he really care about the genuine welfare of the Iraqi people, or is it a fight for oil?  Just some food for thought.  If you want to read more detailed information…

“History, despite its wrentching pain cannot be unlived, but if faced with courage, need not be lived again.” If we want to move forward, we must analyze, remember, and understand the past. This is a must. I am not saying Bush is responsible for the piece of history 24 years ago…I am saying, if you would read carefully, that there are nay sayers who don’t believe this kind of corruption is a possiblity. I’m showing an example that corruption at this level is very much possible. I am asking questions. I am providing a piece of information that will hopefully help people to think, question, and challenge what they have been told, and what they think they understand. We can not be certain of our believes until we comprehend all points of views. We have to be willing to open our minds to a new way of thinking. The more power one (individual or group) has, the larger, the deeper, the more severe the cover-ups will be if something goes wrong. It’s not any different than a child who breaks a lamp, cleans up the mess, and hopes no one notices that the lamp is missing. The difference is, if no one even knew that a lamp existed, until months or years after it was broken…the cover up gets even larger. If we don’t learn from the past, we are doomed to repeat it.

If you go to the CIA on-line fact book and look up Iran, Iran’s history STARTS with the hostage crisis of 1979! The mind reels, no mention of the Shah or the US coup that put him in power. Bush is just a more blatant example of America’s commitment to world democracy since ww2, which can be summed up simply: “You can elect anyone you want, as long as you elect who we tell you to.” For the record I think Bush believes what he is saying, which is scarier to me than if he was lying.
